Duaa Al-Sadeq attended Qatar University to pursue a PhD in Molecular Biology & Proteomics. She received her Bachelor and master’s degree in biomedical science/advanced clinical practice from the College of Health Sciences in 2016 and 2018, respectively. Then, she joined Dr.Gheyath Nasrallah’s lab in the Biomedical Research Center at Qatar University. Dr. Nasrallah’s lab is considered as multidisciplinary service lab that supports researchers from in and outside QU to conduct their experimental works related to different fields such as Functional Genomic. Duaa PhD thesis is about homocystinuria, which is one of the genetic metabolic disorder that is highly prevalent in Qatar.

Molecular: cloning, bacterial transformation, DNA and RNA extraction, plasmid extraction, RT-PCR, gene expression, gene array, gel electrophoresis, Western Blot

Proteomics: protein induction and expression, protein extraction and quantification, protein purification, gel filtration, dialysis, chemical denaturation, activity assay
